X Factor winner Leona Lewis will join The Voice UK next month, it’s been confirmed.
She will appear to help out Jennifer Hudson, mentoring her acts in the knockout stages.
Last year’s winner Mo Adeniran, who was mentored by Jennifer, will also help out.
Leona won The X Factor in 2006 and her debut album was a hit across the world.
Jennifer said: “I’m so excited that Leona is joining me as a mentor on Team JHud! I can’t wait to hear what wonderful advice she has for each act. She is incredibly talented and I really trust and respect her opinion.
“I’m also happy to welcome back Mo, who knows first-hand just what it takes to win this show. I think that will be a valuable point of view for the entire team.”
Leona added: “It’s been great meeting all the talented singers and working with Jennifer. It’s a beautiful thing to play a part in nurturing homegrown talent, to even have a small role in their journey is something very special.”
Mo said: “I’m so excited to be back with my Voice family and Team JHud where it all began!
“I’ve been working hard in the studio for the last 6 months and I hope I can pass on some of the things I’ve learnt whilst making my album to the talented singers on Jennifer’s team. I definitely think she’s got another winner!”
ITV previously revealed the guest mentors for Jennifer’s fellow coaches.
Pop princess Kylie Minogue will return to The Voice UK – as a mentor alongside Sir Tom Jones.
Kylie, who was a coach on The Voice UK with Sir Tom on the 2014 series, joins her friend to give advice to Team Tom ahead of their crucial Knockouts performances next month.
Kylie said: “It’s so great to be back amongst The Voice family as a guest mentor for Tom Jones. I love working with Sir Tom and have been blown away by the talent in his team this series.
“What a pleasure to work with such a great group of contestants and it’s fair to say I’ll be keenly following the rest of the series. Good luck Team Tom!”
As well as Kylie joining Sir Tom, last week it was announced Craig David was pairing up with Olly Murs as his mentor while the Black Eyed Peas joined fellow member will.i.am.
The Voice UK continues Saturday nights on ITV.
Following the auditions are the Battles followed by the Knockouts, with the guest mentors.
Each coach will take six acts into the Knockouts but only two per team will make it through to the Semi-Final.
