Kate Garraway has been rumoured for this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here line up
The TV personality currently fronts Good Morning Britain on ITV.
According to The Sun, she is set to take time off work to fly to Australia for I’m A Celebrity next month.
Speaking previously about the series, Kate confessed: “I think it’s completely terrifying but it’s also a brilliant show to watch, so I don’t know.”
Saying her kids wanted her to take part, she added: “People keep saying I’d be good in there and basically what that means is you want to see me tortured. Like really close friends say, ‘Oh you’d be amazing, I really want you to do it.’ And it’s like, ‘What have I done to you?’
“Does anybody want to go through that torture, I don’t know?’”
As yet no names have been confirmed for the I’m A Celebrity line up this year.
Alongside Katie, rumoured contestants include football icon Ian Wright, Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle and Capital FM host Roman Kemp
TV personality Ulrika Jonsson has also been rumoured for the show together with Blue singer Duncan James.
More rumoured campers are Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe, Rugby star James Haskell and singer Myles Stephenson of X Factor winning boy group Rak-Su.
Meanwhile, ITV has confirmed the new hosting team for I’m A Celebrity’s ITV2 spin-off show Extra Camp.
The jungle reality show’s ITV2 sister show has announced two new faces after Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash both quit earlier in 2019.
Former I’m A Celebrity campers Adam Thomas and Emily Atack will be taking over, joining returning Joel Dommett.
Hosted by Ant and Dec, I’m A Celebrity typically launches in November.
Extra Camp airs nightly on ITV2 straight after the main show.
