By 2020 the building had been demolished, leaving nothing but a concrete wasteland.

Where is the Big Brother UK house location?

For the new series on ITV, a new house has been constructed in North London at Garden Studios, close to Wembley.

The house is built within a studio with a garden extending outside, complete with outdoor fireplace plus smoking area.

A commitment to sustainability has had an impact on the interior design of this year’s house, from rainwater tanks to a Dairy Room chair made from recycled materials.

The new series of Big Brother will air on ITV2 from Sunday night, with AJ Odudu and Will Best confirmed as hosts.

As well as the hosting main show, the pair will lost a nightly live spin-off on ITV2 each evening with a studio audience and celebrity guests. There will also be live feed direct from the house each evening online via ITVX.

The show will see the return of tasks, nominations and live evictions as cameras capture every move of the latest group of housemates.

It’s claimed ITV are keen to cast the show with people ‘from all walks of life’ and avoid ‘influencer types’.

As ever, the public will decide who goes and who will win, walking out of the house with a life changing cash prize.

Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX nightly at 9PM on Sunday – Thursday nights.
