Is there an I’m A Celebrity spin-off show this year? Latest on 2021 series

I’m A Celebrity is back for 2021 – but what about its spin-off show?

Well unfortunately for I’m A Celeb fans, online spin-off series Daily Drop – hosted by Vick Hope – won’t return this year.

Streaming on ITV Hub, it replaced I’m A Celebrity’s original ITV2 spin-off series, Extra Camp. The show, which was previously called I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW!, had aired since 2002 and was most recently fronted by Joel Dommett, Emily Atack and Adam Thomas.

In a statement earlier this year, ITV confirmed the Daily Drop won’t be back.

They said: “The Daily Drop won’t be returning this year but we’d like to thank Vick Hope and everyone involved in the show last year for bringing fans of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! all the latest news and gossip.”

Instead, all the latest from the jungle can be found via the show’s social media handles @imacelebrity on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

I’m A Celebrity will be back form 9PM this Sunday night on ITV, hosted live each night by Ant and Dec.

Contestants taking part the 2021 I’m A Celebrity cast currently include gold medal winning Paralympian Kadeena Cox, musician Naughty Boy, Strictly star Arlene Phillips, Coronation Street actor Simon Gregson, Olympian Matty Lee and radio and TV presenter Snoochie Shy.

Completing the cast are Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, TV host Richard Madeley, EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt, football star David Ginola, singer & media personality Frankie Bridge and broadcaster Louise Minchin.

Meanwhile ITV previously announced that the show would return to Gwrych Castle in the Welsh countryside due to the pandemic.

Katie Rawcliffe, ITV Head of Entertainment Commissioning, said: “After a highly successful run at the castle last year we’re pleased that we can return there. I have no doubt the production team will produce another hugely entertaining series.”
