I’m A Celebrity South Africa line up of contestants REVEALED for new All Star series

Here’s a run down of stars set to return for an I’m A Celebrity’s South Africa All Stars spin-off in 2023.

Past contestants have been invited back for the new Best Of special in South Africa which is airing on ITV1 and ITVX nightly.

The former campmates take part in trials and challenges as they compete to be crowned the All Stars champion in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here South Africa.

But who will be on the All Stars line up? Here’s a round up of all the names confirmed to be entering in the launch episode…

Carol Vorderman

TV presenter and Countdown star Carol Vorderman previously finished in eighth place in the sixteenth series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2016.

Carol said: “Doing I’m A Celebrity changed me a lot and I can’t wait to take part in this new series. I loved everything about I’m A Celebrity [the first time round]… We’ve still got a WhatsApp group!” [from 2016].”

 

Phil Tufnell

Cricketer and broadcaster Phil Tufnell won the second ever series of I’m A Celebrity way back in 2003 and is now ready to make a return to the jungle camp.

Phil said: “I am one of the lucky few to have gone in the jungle and experienced it all and that’s what appealed to me when they phoned up to ask me to take part again. I said yes immediately.”

 

Shaun Ryder

Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder originally finished second place on the show in 2010.

Shaun said: “All I can remember about the Trials is eating a lot of penises, testicles and eyeballs!” Adding “I could have stayed another year in Australia. I loved living outside in the camp and I had a proper laugh with my fellow celebrities. I know going to South Africa will be a great adventure. I can’t wait to do it.”

 

Jordan Banjo

Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo will return to the camp having previously taken part in the 2016 series where he was fourth to be eliminated.

Jordan said: “How many people get the chance to do it twice? A series with different campmates from over the years sounds pretty cool and my fellow Diversity dancers are excited to see me suffer again!”

 

Amir Khan

Professional boxer Amir Khan originally appeared on the seventeenth series of I’m a Celebrity in 2017 where he finished in fifth place.

Amir said: “I let myself down by saying ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ in one of the Trials in Australia. I got scared last time and I want to go in again and come out as the main man – the champion. I am in this to win it.”

 

Paul Burrell

Former butler to Diana, Princess of Wales, Paul Burrell took part in I’m A Celebrity all the way back in 2004 where he finished as runner up.

Paul said: “I loved doing it the first time around and to be asked again is very special. It’s like coming into the final of the jungle Olympics. I had to eat kangaroo testicles in Australia and I am expecting everything to be bigger in South Africa.”

 

Helen Flanagan

Best known for her role of Rosie Webster on Coronation Street, actress Helen Flanagan previously appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2012 where she finished in seventh place.

Helen said: “I am not saying I am going to go in and be a jungle warrior and be absolutely amazing because I will not. Yes I will be scared but I will have a go and I will be a lot better than last time! It will also be really nice to see Ant & Dec again in a funny sort of way!”

 

Janice Dickinson

American model and media personality Janice Dickinson caused a storm when she appeared in the 2007 series of I’m A Celebrity finishing as runner up.

Janice said: “I’m coming back for more fun, more camaraderie and to see if I can get along with everyone.” Adding “You never know what’s going to jump up and bite your ass.”

 

Fatima Whitbread

Olympian Fatima Whitbread originally finished in third place on the show in 2011.

Fatmina said: “I learnt a lot about myself in the Australian camp and I know there will be some life size characters and life size egos in South Africa too! But what a great experience it is going to be.”

 

Gillian McKeith

Gillian McKeith first appeared in the jungle in 2010’s tenth series.

Gillian says: “Now when I think about doing I’m A Celebrity again, I feel apprehensive and petrified. It’s going to be more terrifying this time because back then, I didn’t know what to expect but this time I can’t use that as an excuse. What I felt before feels 1000 times worse now and all of it freaks me out but I feel I’ve got a calling to represent all the scaredy cats in Britain – and that is the reason why I’ve said yes.”

 

Myleene Klass

Myleene Klass was runner up in the show’s sixth series in 2006.

Myleene says: “When do you get to do an adventure like this? Doing the all-star series feels like an incredible thing to be part of. It is also a great honour. There have been hundreds of contestants to choose from and it feels like we are in the Avengers!”

 

Andy Whyment

Andy Whyment originally took part in the 19th series of I’m A Celebrity in 2019.

Andy said: “I am a massive fan of the show and to be asked again is such an honour. I felt privileged to be asked back and I said yes immediately – well once I had spoken to Corrie to make sure I could do it. They said I could and so here we are.”

 

Georgia Toffolo

Georgia Toffolo previously won the 17th series of I’m A Celebrity in 2017.

Georgia says: “I don’t know what to expect but that is perfect. I am not one of those people that likes to think of a scenario in my head. I would far rather turn up, have a laugh, and see how it goes. I navigated the last camp and whether five years on I might be a little bit more nervous, who knows. But I hope I will throw myself into everything as I did back then. It is such an amazing opportunity.”
