The three celebrities left in camp for the live final were soap star Jacqueline Jossa, Capital Radio DJ Roman Kemp and actor Andy Whyment.

Out first in the final in third place was Roman. He said: “That was the best experience of my life. I couldn’t have had more fun or be more grateful. I’ve been a fan of this show, I’ve never had more fun, so much emotion in my life.”

Following their chat with Roman, Ant and Dec returned to the jungle to reveal the final result.

After voting lines had closed for good it was announced that it was Jacqueline who won I’m A Celebrity, leaving Andy as the runner up.

Jacqueline said taking part in the show was a “turning point” for her: “I went in as one person and came out as another. I feel like I’ve grown in confidence… It feels amazing. I can’t believe I did all that stuff. It was not what I expected, it was a lot harder than expected.”

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here airs on ITV.

Hosted by Ant and Dec, the show will return in 2020 with its landmark 20th series.
