How much the cast of The Only Way Is Essex are paid has apparently been revealed.
Reported fees for the stars of the ITVBe show have been unofficially disclosed following an alleged wage dispute.
According to The Sun newspaper, some members of the TOWIE cast have seen significant rises in their fees after originally being paid £100 a day.
The tabloid reports that now cast members are put into different pay bands based on their popularity and time with the show.
Long-timers, which the newspaper says includes the likes of Bobby Norris, Diags, Georgia Kousoulou, and Chloe Sims, are set to get £450 an episode.
Others get paid £350, £250 or £90 depending on how new they are to the series.
A source shared: “Many of the cast were due to have their contracts renewed and so this tied in to the increases.”
A spokesperson for Towie told the newspaper that they would not discuss individual salaries.
Alongside their fee for filming, the stars of TOWIE can make millions from other TV appearances and brand endorsements.
Many have taken part in other reality shows such as Celebrity Big Brother, Dancing On Ice and I’m A Celebrity.
Others have clothing lines, signed modelling deals or even enjoy their own spin-off shows.
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that some of The Only Way Is Essex’s original cast members could be back for a one-off special.
The likes of Mark Wright and Amy Childs are said to be in talks for a 10-year reunion show next year.
It’d mark a decade since the first episode of the hit reality show began in 2010.
TOWIE, which originally began on ITV2 before moving to its current home on ITVBe, has aired 300 episodes across 24 series and specials.
Currently the longest running cast members are Chloe Sims and Gemma Collins, who both joined in series 2 in 2011.
You can catch up with the latest episodes of TOWIE via the ITV Hub or with Amazon Prime Video.
