Gemma Collins is reportedly being lined up for a potential Celebrity X Factor series.
The X Factor could see a huge shake-up this year, with Simon Cowell recently revealing hopes to air both a Celebrity and All Star version of X Factor, in place of the regular series.
Although still not officially confirmed, work is apparently underway to sign up familiar faces for the celeb series.
And Gemma Collins could be one of them.
Following her recent stint on Dancing On Ice, producers are said to be keen to get Gemma singing.
A source told the Daily Star: “We want big and exciting stars and The GC is popular and we reckon she makes entertaining viewing.
“More important, she can sing.
“Simon has handled many divas over the years with the likes of Sharon Osbourne and Mel B, so we reckon he will be able to deal with this Essex one.”
It’d be Gemma’s latest reality TV project after not only Dancing On Ice but also I’m A Celebrity, Celebs Go Dating, Splash and Celebrity Big Brother.
X Factor boss Simon last month announced his plans for The X Factor in 2019.
The TV chief suggested that The X Factor would broadcast two separate shows back to back this autumn, one seeing celebrities compete and the other featuring a line up of past contestants.
Simon described the upcoming series as a “huge change”, continuing: “We haven’t exactly confirmed the dates or the order of the shows, but essentially there are going to be two versions of X Factor running this year.
“I think it’s going to be huge, it’s the best I’ve felt about this show in years.”
As yet, official plans for The X Factor this year have not been announced by ITV.
The X Factor typically begins on TV in September.
