Ferne McCann may give birth on TV in new reality series

Ferne McCann could give birth on TV as part of her new reality series.

According to reports, the pregnant reality star is letting cameras follow her every move, including joining her in the delivery room.

However it’ll be up to Ferne to ultimately give the go ahead for the scenes to be filmed and aired.

“Ferne has got an all-female team on standby ready for the baby to make an appearance, made up of friends and birthing partners, midwives and an all lady TV crew at the ready,” a source explained.

They told The Sun newspaper: “There are discussions, but it might not happen. If it happens, it’ll be a warts and all show – nothing will be missed.

“But if she does change her mind, the cameras will stop running full stop.”

The new mum-to-be is due to give birth later this year in November.

Her journey towards motherhood will be documented in new programme Ferne McCann: First Time Mum.

Airing on ITVBe, the 90 minute special exclusively follows Ferne as she faces her future as a mum.

Ferne’s happiness at finding love and falling pregnant turned to pain as she split from her partner, but the programme shows her positive approach and excitement about having a baby.

As she continues to work hard throughout her pregnancy, the programme follows Ferne right through to giving birth.

Ferne said of the show this week: “I’m quite quirky so you’ll see me meet with a witch doctor, who blesses the unborn child, and discuss different birthing options. ”

She added: “Being pregnant is a nerve-wracking time, so I think people will relate to it.”
