The Madame Blanc Mysteries (Series 3, Episode 1)

The Madame Blanc Mysteries returns with the first episode of its brand new series.

Judith and Jeremy have lent their boat, Rita, to a group of marine biologists. While on a diving expedition, Gary, a member of the team, stumbles upon an ancient gold coin and secretively takes it. However, a sudden cardiac arrest underwater leads to a tragic turn of events.

Caron unveils the hidden treasure to Jean and seeks her assistance to unravel the mystery behind Gary’s demise. The question arises: were the scientists truly searching for underwater minerals, or is there a deeper motive behind Gary’s untimely death?

Intrigued, Jean proposes that Dom join the inquiry, posing as a Numismatist, an expert in validating coins for trade. Despite Caron’s stern warning to leave such matters to the police, the determined duo contemplate whether to proceed with their investigation.

The Madame Blanc Mysteries airs on Channel 5 on Thursday, 4 January 2024 at 9:00PM.

The episode is the first from the show’s third series.
