We also venture into the heart of Malta’s countryside, where we join a family-run farm in their efforts to cultivate the island’s finest produce. This episode includes a thrilling dive into the azure waters of Malta, exploring submerged WWII relics.

Additionally, we visit a unique “cat village”, home to some of Malta’s cherished stray cats, and partake in a sea clean-up initiative to maintain the island’s pristine waters.

Highlighting Malta’s culinary scene, we focus on Trattoria del Nonno, a famed family-owned restaurant. Established 60 years ago by Grandpa Benny, it’s now managed by his descendants. We follow grandson Kane as he proposes modern twists on traditional Maltese dishes, using fresh ingredients sourced from a local family farm. Will Grandpa Benny approve of these contemporary additions to the trattoria’s menu?
