Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly (Series 6, Episode 4)

Melody and Adam, a pair of newlyweds, were eagerly anticipating the start of their life together, filled with love and all it entails. However, they face a significant hurdle – their Chihuahua, Wally.

Whenever the couple tries to share a romantic moment, Wally transforms into a tiny, love-hampering missile, effectively sabotaging any intimate moments. His hostile barks and bites put an end to any closeness. Wally’s behaviour isn’t just a problem for their romance; it’s also impacting their aspirations to adopt, as he is equally unwelcoming to visitors.

Floki the Dachshund might have a name inspired by the fearless Vikings, but his bravery vanishes when it comes to travelling. The moment he steps onto a bus, train, or any vehicle, he becomes extremely agitated. His incessant barking turns him into a public disturbance, and his owner, Sam, feels like she’s in the wrong.

Floki’s travel anxiety severely affects Sam’s life, impacting her career, lifestyle, and ability to visit family.

Jackie, who was looking forward to spending her retirement in her garden, faces a challenge from her two Cavachons. Instead of enjoying gardening together, the dogs have turned her garden dreams into a nightmare. Gardening activities, from using the hoe to dead-heading roses, end in chaos. Jackie wonders if Graeme can teach her dogs to coexist peacefully with her gardening hobby.

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly airs on Channel 5 on Tuesday, 23 January 2024 at 8:00PM.
