A mentalist gifted Amanda Holden a ‘car’ in an unseen audition on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent.
Tomas McCabe went before judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden in a cut audition from Saturday’s main show.
In his audition, which aired on ITV2’s More Talent, Tomas revealed he currently makes a living selling beauty days to women.
But his secret talent is being a mentalist, and promised Amanda a present.
Before revealing her gift, Tomas invited Ant and Dec to join him on stage.
He asked the pair too choose a random gift through a set of cards, picking a Blue Car.
Tomas then revealed a present that had been on stage since the beginning, unveiling a red teddy bear.
Although the trick appeared to go wrong, Tomas invited Amanda to press the Bear’s hand, which prompted the toy to tell Amanda to look up where a giant poster of a blue car appeared.
“I loved it,” Amanda reacted. “You gave a competent performance, it all went right, it was all about me, win-win.”
Simon added: “You have something really special about you… can I keep the bear? I’m going to give it someone. ”
With four yeses, Tomas went through to the next round.
He joins other acts that impressed at the weekend which included singers 28-year-old Rob King from Manchester who performed a Eurovision hit Rise Like A Phoenix and 23-year-old Mark McMullan from Northern Ireland who belted Les Misérables’ iconic song Bring Him Home.
25-year-old variety performer Jay Rawlings set a brand new world record for his audition while dance group Iconic, made up of kids aged 7 to 11, performed to a medley of hits by artists ranging from Madonna to BGT’s own Ant and Dec.
