Singer Sydnie Christmas has become the odds-on favourite to win Britain’s Got Talent 2024 after her spectacular semi-final performance.

Her odds have dramatically shortened from 6/1 to 8/11, making her the clear frontrunner for the BGT crown.

Previous favourite Innocent Masuku has seen his odds drift from 5/2 to 8/1 after Christmas’ stunning performance.

William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps commented: “We have a new market favourite for the race to be crowned Britain’s Got Talent winner ahead of Sunday’s final. Singer Sydnie Christmas has attracted notable backing from punters after last night’s semi-finals.”

“Christmas was a 6/1 shot to win the competition but has since been supported into 8/11 overnight – the first time a contestant has been odds-on for victory all series.”

“Previous favourite Innocent Masuku has meanwhile gone the other way, drifting from 5/2 to 8/1 and now occupying fourth place in the market, behind Denise & Stefan and Jack Rhodes.”

Sydnie Christmas’ rise to the top of the betting odds comes after a powerful and captivating performance that left both the audience and judges in awe.

With the final just around the corner, all eyes will be on Sydnie to see if she can maintain her momentum and take home the £250,000 prize and a spot on the Royal Variety Performance.
