First Britain’s Got Talent 2018 trailer revealed and it’s royally entertaining

The first Britain’s Got Talent 2018 trailer has been revealed.

Judges David Walliams, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon have been given royal makeovers for the clip.

“Entertainment gets the royal treatment,” teased ITV as they shared the video online.

The BGT trailer sees a range of acts trying to please the judges, who are far from amused.

The new series will return to ITV in April.

For the teaser, David Walliams underwent an aristocratic makeover which he seemed to really love.

In scenes reminiscent of his characters on Little Britain, David’s new look won over fans on Twitter.

“Look out for the @BGT trailer on @ITV,” he posted alongside the snaps.

“My look for the @BGT trailer.” he added.

“Reminds me of little Britain! IM A LADYYYY” immediately reacted one of David’s followers.

Another replied: “If Simon isn’t dressed in something similar you’ve deffo missed a trick haha”

And a third added: “My look for the @BGT trailer.”

Filming for for the new series of BGT wrapped up filming earlier this year.

As well as the usual singers and dancers there was also a plate smashing routine that ended in chaos and a moving performance from a victim of the Manchester Arena bombing.

Only a few hundred made it through after showing off their talents in front of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent judges.

Auditions for Britain’s Got Talent 2018 will start on TV from next month.

No air date has been confirmed just yet, but rumour has it the show will begin on Saturday, April 14.

Ant and Dec will host the auditions but its understood Dec will front the live shows alone.

It follows Ant stepping down from his TV commitments for the foreseeable future.
