It’s The X Factor final this weekend and the iconic celebrity duets are back.
Finalists Grace Davies, Rak-Su and Kevin Davy White be singing alongside musical superstars for some very special performances at London’s ExCel centre on Saturday night.
But will any of them match up to these five of the best X Factor duets from series past?
George Michael and Joe McElderry
Joe McElderry won the series in 2009 with the Geordie singing alongside late legend George Michael in the final. The pair covered George’s duet with Elton John and it suited the pair perfectly.
Beyonce and Alexandra Burke
The standout of X Factor’s final duets and one that’s yet to be bettered, Alexandra got to perform with her idol Beyonce in 2008 before winning the contest. Her rivals on the other hand had Westlife and Boyzone…
Olly Murs and Robbie Williams
Olly and Robbie were another perfect duet pairing and their cover of Angels was a favourite of ours, even accounting for Robbie fluffing the lyrics to his own track.
Rihanna and Matt Cardle
Matt said singing with Rihanna was “mind blowing” and we can understand why: Their performance of Unfaithful was fiery and sexy, and it helped Matt to topple One Direction to win the 2010 series.
Little Mix and Tulisa
Little Mix got a fifth member for their final duet as they sang with mentor Tulisa in what turned out to be quite the performance.
The X Factor airs Saturday night on ITV from 7:05PM.
