Big Brother is back and applications for the new series are now open for 2024 – here’s how to apply!

Big Brother moved to a brand new home last year as the show returned with a new series on ITV2.

In the live final, it was confirmed Big Brother would be back once again this year with applications now open.

As ever a cast of housemates will take up residence in the world’s most famous reality TV home, with cameras capturing their every move, and the nation following every twist and turn.

You need to be at least 18-years-old and be available to swap your usual daily routine for life in the Big Brother house.

The closing date for BBUK auditions is 19 July 2024 at midnight.

Big Brother UK application process

Casting for Big Brother begins by filling out the application form.

As well as personal details, you’ll be asked a number of questions. These include details about your personality, interesting facts, your idol and the one thing you couldn’t live without.

You will then have to upload a photo and a 1-minute long video where you explain why you would make a great Big Brother housemate.

Once your written application is submitted, the process will the progress to an in-person audition in either London or Manchester.

The new series of Big Brother will air on ITV2 and ITVX in the autumn.

AJ Odudu and Will Best present the new series together with a nightly spin-off.

Alongside the the main highlights there will be live feed available to watch online on ITVX into the early hours.

The excitement will unfold within the walls of the legendary Big Brother house, which is set to receive a modern makeover in anticipation of this fresh take on the show.

Classic elements like ingenious tasks, suspenseful nominations, and live evictions will return, with audience participation being key.

Viewers will actively vote throughout the series, playing a vital role in not only shaping the course of the show but also in choosing the ultimate winner, who will be awarded a substantial cash prize that could transform their life.

Big Brother UK originally hit TV screens in the UK on Channel 4 in 2020 before moving to Channel 5 in 2011.

Meanwhile Celebrity Big Brother will also make a return in 2024.
