Bake Off Professionals line up, results and winners revealed

Bake Off: The Professionals 2019 is on Channel 4 and from the contestants and judges to all the results, here’s all you need to know.

Bake Off: The Professionals concluded with its final on Friday, June on Channel 4 as the winners were crowned.

Bake Off: The Professionals invites teams from top hotels, restaurants and small businesses to battle it out for their place in the competition.

Professional duos from across the U.K. will go head to head in a series of competitive heats judged by celebrated pastry chefs Cherish Finden and Benoit Blin. Meanwhile, hosts Tom Allen and Liam Charles will offer their own comedic take on events in the professional’s kitchen.

The 2019 Bake Off: The Professionals contestants are made up of duos of professional bakers.

Final

In the final, the top three teams went head to head to be crowned the winner.

KIMPTON FITZROY LONDON – WINNERS
The winners of Bake Off: The Professionals 2019, The Kimpton Fitzroy London team is made up of Team Captain Thibault and his team mate Erica.

PENNYHILL PARK
Sarah is the Head Pastry Chef at the five-star Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa in Surrey. She is joined on the show by team mate Leyre.

SOUTH PLACE HOTEL
Nelson and Evaldas represent South Place Hotel in London. Nelson is the head pastry chef at South Place, with Evaldas working under him as sous chef.

Semi-final

The semi-final saw three of the top six teams eliminated.

PALÉ HALL HOTEL – ELIMINATED THIRD
Palé Hall Hotel in Wales is represented by head pastry chef Adam and commis pastry chef Sam.

FOUR SEASONS AT TEN TRINITY SQUARE – ELIMINATED SECOND
Representing Four Seasons at Ten Trinity Square in this year’s competition are Jake and Kevin.

DREAMWORLD CAKES PATISSERIE – ELIMINATED FIRST
Dreamworld Cakes Patisserie was founded by Richard and his fiancée Bernadett.

Heats

The show started with the heats, each featuring six teams taking part in a series of rounds over three weeks. Each week, one team was eliminated.

Heat 1

CHILTERN FIREHOUSE – ELIMINATED THIRD
Hannah and Martina make up the team from Chiltern Firehouse in London.

ANGES DE SUCRE – ELIMINATED SECOND
Reshmi started Anges de Sucre from home, first making and selling macarons via post. Daisy specializes in cake sculpting and collaborates with Anges de Sucre on occasion to create bespoke orders.

1884 – ELIMINATED FIRST
Team ‘1884’ is made up of Hull born Steven and Connor.

Heat 2

THE COURTHOUSE CHESHIRE – ELIMINATED THIRD
As the youngest team in the competition, Sanjam and Exose feel they have a lot to prove.

TIGERLILY – ELIMINATED SECOND
Pauline and Robert have worked together at the boutique hotel Tigerlily in Scotland for 5 months. Pauline is the head pastry chef and Robert is the head chef.

HONORÉ PATISSERIE – ELIMINATED FIRST
Gaetano and Mark are great friends and have a terrific working relationship, even going as far as to say they are like ‘husband and wife’.

Bake Off: The Professionals judges and hosts

Celebrated pastry chefs Cherish Finden and Benoit Blin are judges for The Great British Bake Off’s professionals spin-off.

Cherish Finden is Creative Development Chef at Godiva Chocolates. Benoit Blin is Chef Patissier at Belmond Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons.

In the latest episode, it was the final of Bake Off: The Professionals 2019.

The three remaining teams must fight tooth and mixing bowl to be crowned the winners of this incredibly tough patisserie competition. Judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden have for the first time set two challenges for the final: four hours to create a stunning afternoon tea; and seven hours to create a mind-blowing wedding feast.
