Emma Willis will host new music TV show Your Song on ITV this evening – here’s all you need to know.
The programme will be made by the same producers as The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent – Simon Cowell’s Syco and FreemantleMedia’s Thames.
The one-off special will feature a host of music’s biggest stars, coming together to celebrate the lives of real people who have done something extraordinary.
They’ll get to enjoy a once in a lifetime performance from some of their favourite artists, including Rita Ora, Little Mix, James Arthur, Paloma Faith and The Script.
In the show tonight (Sunday, October 22) at 9PM on ITV, we see James Arthur writing a very personal song for a young woman who has established an anti-bullying charity.
Meanwhile, Little Mix surprise three special fans with a personal appearance at their concert and Paloma Faith acts as the celebrant at a gay wedding celebration.
The Script perform for a woman recovering from the recent deaths of her mother and long-term partner and Rita Ora takes an inspirational trip back to the youth club she used to attend herself as a teenager.
Host Emma Willis said: “This is such an amazing show to be part of… imagine seeing somebody you love, and who is so deserving being surprised with the performance of a lifetime by their musical hero! I think there’ll be plenty of tears, hugs and happiness!”
