X Factor’s Rak-Su ‘face visa problem as they head to US to record debut album’

X Factor winners Rak-Su have run into visa issues as they record their debut album.

Rak-Su, made up of Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland, Myles Stephenson and Mustafa Rahimtulla, won The X Factor in 2017.

They’ve signed a record deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco label and are currently producing new music.

However The Sun reports that Ashley has been denied a visa to join his bandmates to work in the US.

“Ashley is gutted. He was desperate to work on new tracks and also see Camila Cabello live,” a source told the tabloid. “When he applied for a visa online, he recalled the theft when filling in a section about previous criminal activity.

“Even though he was never charged, the incident was still clearly on a file somewhere and he has been banned from entering America.”

The tabloid adds that the boys were due to record with “some top US producers”.

Rak-Su are expected to debut their new music later this year, and have already lined up a string of gigs.

2017 X Factor champs Rak-Su will support 2011 winners Little Mix on a new tour later this year.

The Little Mix Summer Hits Tour begins in Hove on 6 July 2018 and will visit outdoor venues across the UK through to 29 July.

The Summer Hits Tour 2018 will see the girls playing their biggest tracks such as Touch, Shout Out To My Ex, Black Magic and Wings.

Rak-Su tweeted: “Rak-Su + @LittleMix. Summer Hits Tour of the UK this July? Ahh yeah… it’s happening… its confirmed… it’s about to go off ??”
