X Factor’s Lloyd Macey opened for Little Mix at Manchester Arena last night.
Lloyd beat Kevin Davy White earlier this month to win the prize in this year’s live shows.
In a new sing-off twist for the current series, the best acts sing against each other to win rewards.
The so-called ‘Prize Fight’ replaces the now axed bottom two sing off, with viewers alone instead deciding who goes.
Lloyd topped the vote in Week 3 on Sunday while Kevin Davy White topped Sunday’s vote.
Lloyd and Kevin therefore went head to head, competing for the opportunity to open for Little Mix at their upcoming Manchester tour date this week.
The guys both reprised their songs from the weekend before another public vote opened between the two. Once the flash poll closed, host Dermot O’Leary revealed that with the most votes, Lloyd won the prize.
Lloyd took to the stage last night before Little Mix to sing for the crowd.
And he also met the former X Factor winners backstage.
“WOW – WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!! Thank you to @LittleMix & their amazing audience!! ♥️????” LLoyd tweeted after the show.
He later posted online: “WOW – INCREDIBLE NIGHT TONIGHT supporting @LittleMix at the @ManchesterArena in front of 21,000 people! The audience response was magical! Thank you for your support!
“It was fantastic meeting the girls – they are so lovely and gave me such great advice! ♥️??? #littlemix”
Lloyd is one of six acts currently left in the competition ahead of the semi-finals.
They are Simon Cowell’s Groups Rak-Su and The CutKelvins and Sharon Osbourne’s last girl Grace Davies.
Plus Louis Walsh’s final Boy Lloyd Macey and Nicole Scherzinger’s Overs Kevin Davy White and Matt Linnen.
The X Factor 2017 continues next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
