X Factor 2017 contestant Holly Tandy has revealed her dream duet should she make the final.
With only six weeks of live shows this year, The X Factor final is now less than a month away despite the contestants having only performed live twice so far.
Holly has already been thinking about who she’d love to duet with if she got the chance and told Star magazine: “Coldplay. Me an my dad have been big fans of theirs for years.”
But first Holly must make it through and that means avoiding this weekend’s quadruple elimination: Two acts will be leaving the competition on both Saturday and Sunday night.
Holly suggested fellow Girls category contender Rai-Elle was the one she had to beat, explaining: “She’s so sassy and brings something new to the table that I haven’t seen before.
“She’s a fantastic girl, really talented and good at what she does. But she is also my direct competition because we both have the same audience. “
And Holly admitted that the addition of acts performing original songs was also adding pressure.
She said: “This year has been stepped up a gear.
“I don’t necessarily think that people performing their own material means that I’m at a disadvantage – it’s just something fresh and new.
“But equally, taking songs and making them your own is just as good as performing an original.”
The X Factor 2017 continues this Saturday at 8:10PM and Sunday night at 7:30PM on ITV.
Guest stars will be Harry Styles and Paloma Faith.
There will be a double elimination each night so four acts will be kicked out.
