X Factor’s Holly Tandy LOVES reading mean tweets about herself

X Factor 2017 contestant Holly Tandy has confessed she LOVES reading mean tweets about herself.

While being trolled online may drive some people away from social media, Holly says she finds the “brutal” messages about herself “funny”.

The 16-year-old told OK! magazine: “Some people said after the six chair challenge, ‘Sharon, what are you doing?!’ But she put me on a seat. Some people say I can’t sing but I find it funny.

“I love reading the brutal comments.”

Despite her young age, Holly insists she is strong enough to take on the show.

“Without sounding cruel, me and Rai-Elle actually handled everything the best at Judges’ houses,” Holly explained. “We’re very level headed. Sharon knows who’ll be able to cope with the pressure later on in the competition.”

Holly is expected to make her debut on The X Factor live shows tonight, singing ‘Hollow’ by Tori Kelly.

As expected, this year will see contestants’ performances split between the Saturday and Sunday nights.

For the first weekend, the Boys and Girls are scheduled to sing on Saturday while the Overs and Groups will sing on Sunday.

It’s understood that there will be a separate public vote and up to two eliminations each night, although the precise format has yet to be confirmed.

Saturday night will also see the results of the wild card vote revealed as four more acts join the 12 finalists already confirmed.

The X Factor will be live on Saturday at 8:20PM and return Sunday at 7PM with the first weekend of live singing.
