Former X Factor finalist Emily Middlemas has released her debut single.

Following the live X Factor tour earlier this year, Emily’s been hard at work in the studio on her music and said of her first song: “We’ve been doing so much in the studio and I’m really excited about it.
“It’ll be the first one that I’ve put out there so I can’t wait. It’s different from what people might expect after seeing me on X Factor.”
She added to The Scottish Sun newspaper: “It’s more me and more current and kind of poppy.”

As well as her debut single, busy Emily is also currently on the road with her own headlining tour.
It’ll give fans a chance to get up close & personal in small intimate venues performing a 1 and a half hour set taking them on a journey down ‘Memory Lane’ from her early stages through to X Factor.
Emily said in a message to fans earlier this year: “This is a tour just to say a massive thank you, personally, to every single one of you guys. This tour is going to be so incredible. I am so excited to grow closer towards you all and get to know each city and the people who have been supporting me better.
“I will be taking a trip down memory lane for you all. Taking you all on a journey throughout my life. From lots of stories and songs I wrote and performed ever since I was 9 years old, till now. I can’t wait for you all to get to know who I really am.
“This is a tour all about being myself and I want all of you guys to do the same. A place to feel free, happy, to sing your little hearts out.
“I will make this so special for you all and I promise I will not let you down.”
