X Factor’s Dermot O’Leary forced to say sorry for ‘bad language’ in live show

But what was said?!

Dermot O’Leary was forced to say sorry for ‘bad language’ used on The X Factor 2018 last night.

The X Factor went live for the second time at the weekend and yesterday was the latest results show.

Two acts were voted off in the X Factor 2018 results last night as both Janice Robinson and LMA Choir got the axe.

Janice was first to be sent home after polling the least public votes and was therefore automatically eliminated.

With emotions running high, one contestant couldn’t quite contain their reaction to the result.

Host Dermot told viewers after the following ad break: “Before the break you might have heard some bad language. I am sorry about that. I have to apologise to anyone who heard any bad language a moment ago.

“Emotions are running high tonight but that is no excuse. So apologies all round.”

However who may have said what to cause the apology wasn’t clear, with nothing seemingly heard by viewers at home.

“XFactor wait who swore? Dermot said there was bad language before the break… ? I’m confused,” one of those watching tweeted.

After Janice’s elimination, the results continued as LMA Choir faced Brendan Murray in the sing-off after they received the next fewest votes from viewers.

The two acts performed once more before it went over to the judges to decide who to save. Louis Tomlinson and Ayda Williams sent home LMA Choir while Robbie Williams and Simon Cowell sent home Brendan. With the judges’ vote tied, it went back to the public poll where LMA Choir had the fewest votes and were therefore eliminated.

Elsewhere in Sunday’s show, there were performances from Little Mix and Kylie Minogue.

The X Factor will be back next Saturday with a Halloween theme while One Direction’s Liam Payne and former X Factor winner James Arthur be performing.
