Little Mix have an excuse for a BIG Christmas celebration this year

It’s Christmas and Little Mix have a million reasons to make this year’s celebrations extra special.

The X Factor winners are enjoying a big pay day after their best year yet.

In the past twelve months the girls have enjoyed their first ever number one album, four top ten singles and a hit tour.

The Daily Mirror newspaper reports that the group have seen their earnings total £6.6 million, according to the latest accounts.

“The girls have been touring the world and are working non-stop, and now their efforts are paying off financially. They have become an international brand,” a source told the tabloid.

The four piece, made up of Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, were put together on the show six years ago.

They became the first (and as of right now, still the only) group to win the show, being mentored by Tulisa.

Their winner’s song – a cover of Cannonball – gave the girls their first Number 1.

But their first original hit was Wings which went to the top spot five years ago in 2012.

The girls join only Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis in having their first ‘proper’ single going to Number 1.

And it was far from a fluke with Little Mix having gone on to enjoy a further two Number 1 tracks, including last year’s smash Shout Out To My Ex.

Overall the group have so far scored a total of 12 top ten singles from their four albums, which have all made the top 5.
