Alisah Bonaobra impressed on The X Factor UK once again tonight – but can she make judges’ houses?
This evening was the start of the Six Chair Challenge for 2017 with the super competitive Girls category, mentored by Sharon Osbourne.
Each of the Girls took to the stage one at a time, battling for one of six seats which represented places at judges’ houses.
While the judges – and the live audience at Wembley Arena – all offered their opinions, it was up to Sharon alone to decide who got a chair.
One of those singing for a seat was 22-year-old singer from Manila, Philippines Alisah Bonaobra.
Alisah previously wowed the judges at the room try outs with a cover of Listen and repeated the success with Defying Gravity at the arena bootcamp auditions.
Tonight, Alisah did it again as she belted out Celine Dion’s All By Myself.
“That is how you fight for a seat right there!” Nicole Scherzinger reacted.
“I’d give you two seats!” added Louis Walsh.
But only Sharon had the power to give Alisah a seat and the pressure was on with a number of other acts also impressing.
Shanaya Atkinson-Jones sang I Know Where I’ve Been from Hairspray, Taliah Dalorto performed James Bay’s Let It Go and Deanna put her spin on Emeli Sande’s My Kind Of Love
Other girls brought their very own songs to the stage.
20 year-old sandwich maker from Lancashire Kelsey Gill performsedher self-penned track and current favourite to win, 20 year-old singer-songwriter and warehouse assistant from Blackburn, Grace Davies also returned with a new original song.
See who gets a seat – and can keep a hold of it – this evening when the Six chair Challenge begins.
The X Factor 2017 airs tonight at 7:30PM on ITV.
