X Factor tour 2018 spoilers! What to expect from the live shows…

X Factor tour set list, running time and everything else to expect

The X Factor 2018 live tour is underway and here’s what to expect from the show.

This year’s live show kicked off in Belfast last Friday night as the top six finalists from last year’s series hit the stage.

They are Simon Cowell’s Groups Rak-Su and The CutKelvins and Sharon Osbourne’s top Girl Grace Davies.

Plus Louis Walsh’s top Boy Lloyd Macey and Nicole Scherzinger’s Overs Kevin Davy White and Matt Linnen.

They’re joined by a seventh wild card act from the other finalists, Sean and Conor, who won a public vote.

This year it’s all change, with a new competition element seeing a winner crowned at the end of each evening.

The X Factor digital host, Becca Dudley, will be on the road with the contestants and presenting the tour competition each night.

Throughout the show – which has a running time of approximately 2 and half hours from start to finish – the acts perform songs from last year’s live shows.

As well as singing individually, there are a few brilliant collaborations to get excited about.

Kevin Davy White, Matt Linnen and Lloyd Macey team up for a cover of Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, while The CutKelvins and Grace Davies sing Show Me Love.

Grace also shares the stage with Kevin on Live And Let Die while Rak-Su and Sean and Conor perform Mona Lisa together.

Another favourite of ours are the group numbers, with the finalists all sharing the stage to sing Reggaetón Lento and Can’t Stop The Feeling.

At the end of the performances, it’s over to the audience to decide a winner.

But there’s no premium rate phone number or app to download, rather the winner is decided by the screams of the audience.

Using a sound meter, host Becca measures the crowd response and the fans that scream the loudest get their favourite the win.
