X Factor spoilers! Watch as contestants face the ‘wall of songs’ at bootcamp

Here’s a first look at The X Factor 2017 bootcamp as contestants are hit with a ‘wall of songs’.

The challenge made its debut last series and is back this year.

Dermot O’Leary will be shouting BRING ON THE WALL! (hopefully) as the acts face a range of song choices written on pieces of paper and attached to the wall.

There are 35 songs, each appearing 4 times.

The selection ranges from classic hits – such as Oasis’ Don’t Look Back In Anger and Jackson 5’s I Want You Back – to more recent chart toppers, including Rockabye by Clean Bandit and Say You Won’t Let Go by former X Factor winner James Arthur.

More bootcamp song choices include Heroes by David Bowie, Christina Aguilera’s Fighter and Ain’t Not Other Man, and Love On Top by Beyonce.

In this preview, we see the contestants being gathered before being unleashed on the wall to pick a song they want to sing.

The four acts that pick the same song will then get together and perform their chosen track as a group for judges Nicole Scherzinger, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne.

The judges will then decide on the spot who will progress onto the second stage of Bootcamp, the arena auditions.

There the acts will each take to the stage one at a time to sing not only for the judges but – for the first time this year – a live audience at Wembley Arena.

Those that make it through will go forward to the dreaded six chair challenge.

And from there, it’s just one stage away from the live finals.

Alongside, the judges, Dermot is of course on hand to guide us through it all and give out those much needed Dermot hugs.

The X Factor 2017’s bootcamp double bill airs this Saturday at 8PM.

The show continues with a bumper episode on Sunday night from the earlier time of 7:30PM.
