The locations for this year’s judges’ houses stage on The X Factor have apparently been revealed.
This year sees new X Factor 2018 judges Ayda Williams, Robbie Williams and Louis Tomlinson join Simon Cowell on the panel.
The group have already filmed the auditions and six chair challenge, with judges’ houses next to go.
Usually judges’ houses sees the panel fly out the acts in their categories to exotic locations around the world.
But 2018 will be slightly different, as it’s reported that three of the four will take place in LA.
Simon, Ayda and Robbie will all be heading to California in the US, the Daily Star on Sunday claim.
A show insider told the tabloid: “This is unusual for X Factor. Viewers are used to seeing contestants go all over the world. But this time most of them will be in LA.
“It won’t be as exciting to watch. But it will certainly make things easier for the production team.”
Simon, Robbie and Ayda will host judges’ houses in their actual homes, while One Direction star Louis heads out to Barcelona.
The source added: “Robbie and Ayda have two homes in LA, so they have one each to film at.
“Louis was looking at both Barcelona and Dubai as potential locations. In the end he went for Barcelona. It’s an amazing city, so he’s really excited.”
Typically, each judge is joined at their home by a guest, with many predicting Louis will select another member of 1D to help him out.
Meanwhile, the acts that make it through the judges’ houses stage will go onto the live shows, where Sharon Osbourne will join the panel.
The X Factor 2018 will start on TV in September, hosted by Dermot O’Leary.
