X Factor 2018 finalists: Meet the top six Overs at judges’ houses

The X Factor 2018 finalists are a step closer to being confirmed with the top six Overs revealed.

We’ve had a total of eight audition shows before the Six Chair Challenge concluded tonight.

Over the weekend, the remaining acts in the four categories started to get cut down to just 24 as the mentors took control for the first time this year and decided on their top contestants.

This evening saw the Six Chair Challenge wrap up for the Overs, who this year are mentored by new judge Ayda Williams.

There was more drama, a lot of chair swapping and two chances for one act as she completed her line up for judges’ houses.

After everything, Ayda eventually settled on her final six contestants in the Overs category.

But which of them will go on to take part in the X Factor live shows which start later this year?

X Factor 2018 final six overs

Olatunji Yearwood
32 year old Soca performer and songwriter from Trinidad and Tobago.

Ricky John
36 year old carpenter.

Louise Setara
30 year old cleaner from Camberley.

Janice Robinson
50 year old songwriter.

Danny Tetley

Following the end of the six chair challenge, the six contestants left in each category will fly across the globe to sing for their mentor in a bid to get a spot in the LIVE SHOWS.

Ayda’s acts are rumoured to be heading to LA.
