X Factor 2018 finalists: Boys in the live shows revealed by Louis Tomlinson

Louis Tomlinson has revealed his finalists for The X Factor 2018 live shows.

Tonight saw the last part of judges’ houses as we headed to Ibiza with Louis and his Boys category.

Six acts performed for a place in the live shows for Louis and his guest judges, fellow One Direction star Liam Payne and Chic frontman Nile Rodgers.

The Boys from the Six Chair Challenge all had one more chance to impress their mentor before the final four were decided.

Louis then sat down to chat with each in turn to reveal their fate with Anthony Russell, Armstrong Martins, Brendan Murray and Dalton Andre Harris making the cut. That means we said goodbye to J-Sol and Thomas Pound.

First to get a yes was Dalton Andre Harris. Louis said: “You really took your performance to another level. One thing is unquestionable is you have a massive, amazing vocal.”

Next to hear the news was Armstrong Martins. Louis told him: “I’m taking you through lad! You did it! Give me a cuddle.”

After, Brendan Murray was told by the One Direction star: “What I see in you is a lot of potential.”

Finally through was Anthony Russell. Louis said: “The standard has been amazing. I think yesterday got to you a little bit that worried me. I want to have that full belief that you won’t crack under pressure… but of course I’m taking you through!”

The four piece join the previously announced finalists in Robbie William’s Groups category – 15-strong LMA Choir, teenage duo A Star, pals Stefan and Jeff aka Misunderstood and boyband Vibe 5.

Plus, Simon Cowell’s final four girls 19-year-old Bella Penfold from Essex, 16-year-old Molly Scott from County Durham, 20-year-old Scarlett Lee from Surrey and 25-year-old Shan from Croydon.

The X Factor 2018 live shows begin at 8:25PM on Saturday, October 20 and at 8PM on Sunday, October 21.
