Why Love Island’s Jack Fincham nearly quit Celebs Go Dating

Love Island’s Jack Fincham almost quit Celebs Go Dating, it’s been revealed.

Jack won Love Island last year with Dani Dyer, each taking home a £25,000 prize.

But they split up earlier this year and now Jack is on Celebs Go Dating looking for a new relationship.

So far Jack’s dates haven’t exactly gone to plan – and last night he received the worst score in Celebs Go Dating history.

Chatting to dating agents Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson, Jack was told: by Anna: “I’ve never seen this. Describe Jack in three words. Waste of time. Ouch!”

She added: “It’s the worst score we’ve ever had for a guy on Celebs Go Dating.”

Now Anna has shared how Jack came close to quitting the show during filming.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Jack almost left the agency because he was having a bit of a hard time, and it was really tough for Jack when he first came in because he’s only been known so far as going out with one person and in a relationship.

“He’d underestimated how his dating experience was, which turns out not so great, but what is really nice is that Jack has a really good story and journey with the show and I think people are going to, hopefully, enjoy seeing how far he comes.”

Anna teased there were still “so many ups and downs to come” from the series, which airs Sunday-Thursdays nights on E4.

Other names on the Celebs Go Dating 2019 line up alongside Jack include former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger and Blue singer Lee Ryan.

Joining them are Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry, Lady Colin Campbell, Chloe Sims, Demi Sims and Jack’s former Love Island co-star Megan Barton Hanson.

Plus, this year has introduced couples counselling sessions which started this week with footballer Jermaine Pennant and his wife, glamour model Alice Goodwin.
