The Britain’s Got Talent 2018 semi-finalists have been revealed with more than half made up of singers and dancers.

Saturday night saw the Top 40 contestants in the live shows revealed, with the acts performing all this week in the semi-finals.

Of the Top 40, a total of 15 are singing acts, including four of the five golden buzzers, two choirs and one boy band.

There are 6 dancing acts ranging from ‘aliens’ Baba Yega to Diversity spin-off group Diversity Juniors aka DVJ.

We also have a number of magicians in the mix, including Ant and Dec’s golden buzzer Marc Spelmann, sleight of hand specialist Maddox, comedy magician Mandy Muden and illusionist group Magus Utopia.

Then there are the true variety acts: Rola-Bola performer Sascha, visual comic Marty Putz and escapologist Matt Johnson.

The Britain’s Got Talent 2018 live shows air from tonight, Monday, May 28 until Friday, June 1.

Performing tonight are Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer act, Lifford Shillingford, dancers Cali Swing, comedian Lost Voice Guy, vocal group The D-Day Darlings, escapologist Matt Johnson, quick change act Ellie and Jeki, dancer Shameer Rayes and magician Maddox Dixon.

The semi-finals will air from 7:30PM on ITV with a group of contestants performing each evening and two acts will make it through.

This year it won’t just be down to the viewers. The act with the highest public vote will automatically go into the final while the judges will decide between the second and third placed acts as to who will join them.

The ten finalists will then go head to head in the grand finale this SUNDAY night, June 3.
