The Britain’s Got Talent 2019 judges have announced who this year’s wild card act is.
This year the panel again picked on extra act to make the final following the end of the semi-finals.
After a tense deliberation between the judges, it was decided dancers Libby and Charlie will join this year’s finalists in the live grand final tonight.
In each of the semi-finals in the week, two acts from each night’s show made it into the live final this evening, on Sunday 2 June.
While the act with the highest public vote went straight into the final, the judges decided between the second and third placed acts as to who will join them.
But they won’t be alone in the final.
Appearing in this week’s live shows, Simon Cowell confirmed there would also be an eleventh wild card act joining the top ten finalists.
Today it was officially announced that 12-year-old dancers Libby and Charlie are this year’s Britain’s Got Talent wildcard.
The duo finished third in last night’s (Friday) semi-final.
As the BGT wild card, Libby and Charlie will join the other finalists and be in with a chance of winning a life changing £250,000 and a spot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.
Alongside Libby and Charlie, the finalists are magician X, stuntman Jonathan Goodwin, magician Ben Hart, singer Mark McMullan. singer Colin Thackery, comedian Kojo Anim, Magic dog act Dave & Finn, singing and dancing group Flakefleet Primary School, magicians 4MG and comedy singer Siobhan Phillips.
The Britain’s Got Talent 2019 final airs Sunday, June 2 on ITV.
The live final airs from 7:30PM as viewer votes alone determine the winner with a vote via phone lines and for free via the BGT app.
As well as the performances from the finalists, also taking to the stage will be former Britain’s Got Talent. winners Diversity who will present a fantastic new high-energy dance performance.
