Each week two happy couples, poised to tie the knot, and their friends and family will go head to head in order to win fabulous prizes, a dream honeymoon, and most importantly the most extraordinary wedding ceremony ever which will be broadcast to the nation.

There are no losers in Wedding Day Winners. Each couple will come away with a host of prizes, happy memories and above all married to the love of their lives!

With the help of a celebrity guest list, it’s the job of Lorraine and Rob to oversee this confetti-filled contest.

They’ll encourage the friends and families of each couple to compete in series of hilarious physical games, high adrenalin stunts, and challenges.

In tonight’s second episode, we meet Tom & Chris and Richard & Kelly.

Keen animal lovers Tom (30) and Chris (27) from Market Harborough can’t wait to become a married couple. Chris works as a Domestic Care Company Director while Tom is a Senior Glazing Estimator, and along with their friends, family and beloved dogs Penny and Lily, they are relishing the chance of winning some prizes to help kick-start their married life together.

From Northern Ireland, Supermarket Supervisor Kelly (30) and Sales Representative Richard (34) actually met through their love of playing rugby – and Kelly still remembers feeling love at first sight when she first saw Richard across the rugby pitch! The couple have been together for 8 years and have a 1-year old son called Harry, as well as Kelly’s son Rhys.

They’ll face a series of wacky challenges to win their dream wedding, including a game with model Kelly Brook.

Speaking about the series, Lorraine Kelly said: “I am so excited about this show. There will be laughter and tears and lots of fun. Everyone loves a wedding and it will be wonderful to share such a life affirming event with our couples.

“It’s a show all the family can watch together and perfect for a Saturday night.”

Rob Beckett added: “When I was told that I’d be presenting Wedding Day Winners with the legend that is Lorraine Kelly, I was so excited, that in true wedding tradition I immediately put a tie around my head and started belting out Come On Eileen at the top of my voice.

“Unfortunately I was on the bus at the time.”
