Here’s a first look at the Dancing On Ice 2018 contestants taking to the ice this year.
And there a LOT of falls, tumbles and trips.
A total of twelve celebrities have signed up for Dancing On Ice’s new series, the first since 2014.
Soap star Brooke Vincent was revealed as the new series’ first star signing for the returning show.
She’s joined by singer Cheryl Baker and Love Island contestant Kem Cetinay, who seems to be particularly struggling in training.
He admitted recently: “I’m the most inflexible, uncoordinated person ever. And the skates hurt my feet, as well.
“I keep throwing tantrums, too. I’ll be ten minutes in and just be like, ‘This is too hard, I can’t do it any more.”
Joining Kem on the Dancing On Ice cast are Great British Bake Off’s Candice Brown, X Factor singer Jake Quickenden, Rugby hunk Max Evans, and ITV Weatherman Alex Beresford.
Cricket hero Monty Panesar was also on the cast but was replaced by singer Lemar due to injury.
Actress and TV presenter Donna Air, athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton, Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton and Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring complete the Dancing On ice 2018 line up of celebrity contestants.
They’ve all been partnered up with a pro skater who will choreograph a new routine each week.
After performing live on Sunday nights, the ice panel will mark each ice skating dance.
Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have been confirmed as judges for the new series.
The former coaches will take up a seat on the panel alongside returning Jason Gardiner plus new judge Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo.
The Dancing On Ice 2018 start date has now been confirmed for Sunday, January 7. The opening show will run for two hours between 6PM and 8PM.
