Here’s a first look at Catherine Tyldesley taking her first steps in training for Strictly Come Dancing.
The soap star is dancing with pro Johannes Radebe on this year’s series.
Their first dance is the Viennese waltz, one of “the hardest dances in ballroom” says Johannes in this clip.
“The main thing that I’m worried about is the spinning,” says Catherine.
She adds: “I’m pretty sure I’m going green. We’re going to need Bruno with a bucket at the side of the stage.”
Training for #Strictly is no laughing matter, unless you're @Cath_Tyldesley and @jojo_radebe! 🤣 pic.twitter.com/hYacgnS2GU

Catherine continues: “The dance is something I adore watching as a viewer however actually doing it is a different matter.”
Sickness issues aside, it’s clear Catherine and Johannes are loving training together.
“Me and Catherine get on like a house on fire. The giggles already!” laughed Johannes.
Meanwhile, discussing signing up for the new series, Catherine said this week: “I am a huge fan of the show. I’ve tried to watch it as much as I can since the first show. But I also can’t dance. I went to drama school but I never had the confidence to take part in the dance classes – often I’d avoid them completely.
“I was a lot bigger than I am now and I just didn’t enjoy it. My old dance teacher was very surprised when she heard I was doing this! I want to prove to myself I can do it. I want to learn a new skill.
“I’m in complete awe of what dancers can do.”
Other celebs taking part in Strictly this year include CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual, soap star Emma Barton, footballer and sports pundit Alex Scott, radio host Dev Griffin and comedian Chris Ramsey.
They’re joined by vlogger Saffron Barker as well as actor Kelvin Fletcher who replaces injured Jamie Laing.
Strictly Come Dancing 2019 will return for its live shows later this month.
The first live performance airs Saturday, September 21.
