The Voice UK preview: Watch Bailey Nelsen and Kirby Frost do battle

Here’s a first look at The Voice UK 2018 this weekend as Bailey Nelsen and Kirby Frost do battle.

The Voice coaches Olly Murs, Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, and Jennifer Hudson return to TV on Saturday for the latest week of battle rounds.

It’s the second of three instalments as the coaches continue to cut down their teams.

As the battle rounds continue, here’s a first preview as Bailey Nelsen and Kirby Frost face off.

The two Team Olly singers will be seen singing Friends by Justin Bieber and BloodPop

But who will mentor Olly declare the winner and secure their place in the next round?

And will the loser get stolen?

Ahead of Saturday night’s show and results, you can watch a first look clip of their battle performance above.

In the battles on The Voice, each of the coaches will partner up the acts in their teams from the auditions in a series of head to head musical sing-offs.

Both contestants share the same stage and the song, but only one of them can be declared the winner.

After each performance, all the coaches will offer their views on who won but their mentor alone is the one with the power to name the victor.

The loser’s only chance to stay in the competition comes from the other coaches, with the steal twist returning.

Once again The Voice UK coaches can each take an act through that their rivals reject for their own team.

Just as with the blind auditions earlier this year, if more than one coach wants the same act, it’ll be the contestant themselves who decides which team to join.

However the coaches can only pick just one act to steal. After last Saturday’s first show both Olly and Jennifer have used their steals, leaving just Sir Tom and Will with an extra place on their teams.

By the end of the Battles, each team will be left with six acts going into the Knockouts, ahead of the live shows later this year.

The Voice UK’s 2018 battle rounds continue this Saturday night at 8:30PM on ITV.

Also doing battle this weekend will be Team Jennifer’s Jake Benson and Jilly Riley.
