The Voice UK judges are working on an album together

The Voice UK coaches are working on an album together, Olly Murs has said.

Olly and fellow judges Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson are apparently recording songs.

And they’re due to be joined on the record by contestants from the show.

“We’ve been talking about it for ages – me, Jennifer and Tom. This season every time we see each other we’ve been talking about working together,” Olly said.

He told The Sun newspaper: “We’ve been saying it would be really cool to put an album together of some songs that we’ve done and also contestants that have maybe won the show or done well.

“It’s getting the schedules to meet but hopefully it will be something we’ll be able to do in the future.”

And Olly also revealed he hoped to get his fellow coaches on stage at the BRITs next year.

He said: “I think it would be great at the Brits next year – me, Jennifer, Tom and Will doing a performance.

“To get three amazing artists up there to do a performance would be amazing.”

Sir Tom previously spilled that he and the Black Eyed Peas star were also set to head into the studio for collaboration.

“I spend a lot of time with Will off screen, whenever I can,” Sir Tom told The Sun last month. “When I was living in Los Angeles I saw Will nearly all the time out there.

“He’s been asking me for ages when we can collaborate, and it is going to happen,” Sir Tom continued. “It sounds like a great idea, we’re just working to get the right song, then we’re going to do it.”
