Following the events of the last series, the future is looking bright for the Durrells, with all of the family channelling their heartbreak in different ways.

The Durrells spoilers
In tonight's third of six episodes, when Louisa meets Spiros’ wife, Dimitra, for the first time whilst shopping for a picnic, she inadvertently invites both Dimitra and Spiros on a trip to Kalami to see Larry. Much to both Louisa and Spiros’ surprise, Dimitra agrees.
Louisa and Basil travel in the car with Dimitra and Spiros, whilst a sea sick Theo, Lugaretzia and Gerry travel with Les in his boat. However, when they arrive in Kalami, they discover that Larry is in fact in Paris and their picnic is eaten by hungry animals. With tensions high, the group are forced to go to the local bar which is run by Captain Creech, who gifts Gerry a pair of lemurs.
Meanwhile, Margo is staying in Dorset with Prue and Geoffrey and managed to engage the usually conservative village in her European style.
