X Factor’s Scarlett Lee says she hopes to be releasing an album next year.

Scarlett finished the X Factor 2018 as runner up earlier this month, losing out to Dalton Andre Harris in the final. Anthony Russell finished the competition third.

During the final, Scarlett performed a duet with Robbie Williams and her potential winner’s song, One Last Sleep with Leona Lewis.

Three weeks on and Scarlett says she’s still struggling to “come down” from the highs of the show.

Chatting to ITV’s This Morning, Scarlett said: “It just feels like a really big whirlwind, so I’m still trying to come down for Christmas, but I’ve my clothing line and album coming out next year.

“And I can’t wait for the tour it’s going to be so much fun.”

Discussing her plans for Christmas next week, Scarlett added: “I’m gonna have time off and just chill with my family, I haven’t really seen them that much.”

The X Factor tour will kick off in February starting in Nottingham on the 15th of February, 2019.

The tour continues across to Leeds before stopping off at Birmingham, Brighton, Bournemouth, Cardiff, London (Wembley Arena), Sheffield and Hull.

It’s then on to Aberdeen, Glasgow, Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester.

The X Factor 2019 tour line up of contestants was confirmed during the live shows earlier this year.

They are Anthony Russell, Brendan Murray and Dalton Andre Harris from the Boys category and The Overs’ Danny Tetley.

Girls’ contestants Shan Ako, Scarlett Lee and Bella Penfold. Finally, from the Groups are duo Acacia and Aaliyah.

Those on the XFactor tour line up will perform a few group numbers as well as covers and original songs sung on the live shows.

The X Factor digital host, Becca Dudley, will again be on the road with the contestants and presenting the tour competition each night.
