The four piece, made up of Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, were put together on The X Factor seven years ago now.

They’ve since become one of the biggest acts in the UK with millions of records sold.

Their fifth studio album is due out later this year and lead single Woman Like Me, featuring US rapper Nicki Minaj, is out now.

“The feeling of releasing new music for you never gets old. #WomanLikeMe is going to be all yours at midnight. We hope you love it ?,” the girls tweeted today.

You can listen, download and stream the song online now HERE.

‘Woman Like Me’ is described as “a coming of age record, the story of Jesy, Jade, Leigh- Anne and Perrie growing as women. The lyrics speak of being honest about who you are as a woman, telling a man they need to accept you, flaws and all.”

Little Mix’s upcoming album doesn’t have an official release date yet but Jade previously announced it’ll be out ‘around November’, just like their past releases.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News earlier this year, Jade said of the record: “This is definitely my favourite album, you can tell it’s come from us.

“There’s a lot of female empowerment, lots of songs give a nod to being yourself. Through working with Stonewall I’ve become a better writer.

“I’m really excited for this album. We’re definitely ready to release something, we’re missing having our music out there.”

It’s expected that Little Mix will return to The X Factor live shows to perform later this year.

For now, their first confirmed live performance is at the Radio 1 Teen Awards at Wembley’s SSE Arena in London, on October 21, where they have been nominated for Best British Group. They are up against The 1975, Clean Bandit, Rudimental and Years & Years.

Also set to perform at the event are 5 Seconds of Summer, Mabel, Sigrid, rising stars HRVY and Jack and Jack, plus Jonas Blue and Not3s. The annual bash will be hosted by BBC Radio 1 presenters Greg James, Maya Jama and Mollie King.
