Here’s a throwback to the time that Tom Read Wilson appeared on The Voice UK.
The Celebs Go Dating receptionist’s first time on TV wasn’t the E4 series.
He actually auditioned on The Voice UK in 2016, when the show was on BBC One.
In this clip, Tom tells the cameras before singing: “I would describe myself as fun, naughty, a little bit irreverent and rather chaotic.
“That covers everything, doesn’t it?”
The 28-year-old ‘Thespian’ then speaks to then co-host Marvin Humes about his famous voice.”
He adds: “I know full well I’m a bit of an oddity but sometimes oddities can be a nice surprise.
“At least, I hope the coaches think so.”
On stage, Tom performed Accentuate The Positive but unfortunately there were no turns for his song.
“You don’t look anything like what you sound like!” reacted Paloma Faith when the coaches turned at the end.
“I thought you were like 85,” quipped Will.i.am.
In the end, Tom didn’t make it as a singer but has found a new calling as a reality TV receptionist.
The Celebs Go Dating line up this series include reality star Megan McKenna, popstar and Jungle Queen Kerry Katona, Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey and Love Island’s very loyal contestant, Georgia Steel.
Joining the girls on their quest for love are four single guys, The Only Way is Essex’s Pete Wicks, Ibiza Weekender head rep David Potts and Love Island’s Jack Fowler.
Celebs Go Dating airs Sunday-Thursdays. You can tune in each night at 9PM on E4.
