Tom Fletcher says he won’t be following his McFly bandmate Dougie Poynter into the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
Musician Tom had been linked to the ITV series after Dougie’s victory in 2011 but says its not for him.
“I’ve got stuff going on,” he told the Daily Star newspaper. “Dougie won I’m a Celebrity, Harry [Judd] won Strictly Come Dancing. I’m alright. I’m happy to watch them go off and do it.”
Tom added: “I was Dougie’s guest when he was in I’m a Celebrity, and I got to stay at the luxury Australian hotel for two weeks. I think that’s the better deal.”
Tom isn’t the only celeb to turn down the show, with boxer Frank Bruno also saying no to a spot on the line up.
He said: “You’ll never see me in the Jungle. I don’t want to eat any balls or nothing – that’s not my cup of tea.”
As for who we could be seeing in camp soon, names linked to I’m A Celeb this year include The Saturdays’ singer Vanessa White, Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thompson, reality star Gemma Collins and Tattoo Fixers star Paisley Billings.
Also tipped to appear are former rugby player Ben Cohen MBE, Taekwondo champ Jade Jones, The Only Way Is Essex’s Danielle Armstrong, Geordie Shore’s Gaz Beadle, Big Brother’s Nikki Grahame and Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas.
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2017 will start on ITV in the autumn.
The show, hosted by Ant and Dec, typically begins in November.
