A Theresa May impersonator shocked the Britain’s Got Talent judges on tonight’s show.
Kath Thompson appeared on stage in this evening’s episode as the Prime Minister.
She walked on to ABBA’s Dancing Queen before bursting into a dance routine that saw her strip off and wave around UK and EU flags.
The audition came just a day after Theresa May announced she would be stepping down as prime minister next month.
After ‘Mrs May’s audition on BGT, David Walliams quipped: “If this doesn’t solve Brexit I don’t know what will!”
Simon Cowell laughed: “Unbelievable! The fact that you’ve come on and you’ve chosen our show it’s amazing and I really appreciate that.”
And Alesha Dixon remarked: “I’ve been so uncomfortable watching Teresa dance lately. When she was in Africa and she was doing [waves her arms]. It was brilliant!”
You can watch ‘Theresa May’ audition for Britain’s Got Talent 2019 in the video above.
Other acts in tonight’s BGT include dance group Funky Feet, who bring the moves, sass and some serious girl power to BGT, and magician John Archer, who gets David Walliams on stage and involved in his audition.
More contestants we meet in the final auditions are 4MG, a group of magicians made up of 18-year-old Harry, 17-year-old Theo, 17-year-old Josh and 19-year-old James.
Plus, a group of dancing Disco Dogs perform to dog themed songs including Hound Dog and Who Let The Dogs Out – but is all as it seems?
Britain’s Got Talent 2019 is back Saturday night at 8PM on ITV with More Talent straight after on ITV2 from 9:20PM.
The live BGT 2019 semi-finals then begin on Monday night from 7:30PM.
The grand final takes place next Sunday night (June 2)
