The X Factor 2018 finalists confirmed: Meet the final three

The X Factor 2018 finalists have been revealed – but which of them will be crowned the winner?

Over the past three months we’ve gone from thousands of auditions to just a trio of potential X Factor winners.

16 made it to the start of the live shows six weeks ago, a record line up.

Those who made it through to the live shows were Simon Cowell’s Girls Bella Penfold, Molly Scott, Scarlett Lee, and Shan, Ako. In the Boys category mentored by Louis Tomlinson were Anthony Russell, Armstrong Martins, Brendan Murray, and Dalton Andre Harris.

In the Overs category mentored by Ayda Williams were Danny Tetley, Giovanni Spano, Janice Robinson, and Olatunji Yearwood. Finally, in the Groups mentored by Robbie Williams were duo Acacia and Aaliyah, LMA Choir, Misunderstood and boy band United Vibe.

A series of live performances and brutal elimination rounds followed that only the strongest survived.

Two acts went each weekend up until last semi-final where a trio were sent packing.

First out in the opening weekend’s double elimination were Olatunji Yearwood and Armstrong Martins while Janice Robinson and LMA Choir went out next.

United Vibe and Molly Scott were eliminated in week 3 before Misunderstood and Giovanni Spano said their goodbyes to the competition.

Shan Ako and Bella Penfold bowed out in the quarter finals while the triple elimination left Brendan Murray, Danny Tetley and Acacia & Aaliyah missing out on the final.

Now three finalists remain: Scarlett Lee, 20 from Surrey, Anthony Russell, 28 from Liverpool, and Dalton Andre Harris, 24 from Jamaica.

One of them will be crowned the WINNER of The X Factor 2018 this weekend.

The X Factor will start on Saturday at 7:30PM with the first performances and return Sunday at 7:30PM with the last weekend of live singing.

Meanwhile, guest acts confirmed to be performing are Take That, Anne Marie, George Ezra, Ellie Goulding and James Arthur.
