The Voice UK 2019 winner’s single has been released following tonight’s final.
After last weekend’s live semi-final, four contestants remained on The Voice 2019 this evening.
Tonight saw Team Tom’s Deana Walmsley and Bethzienna Williams together with Team Olly’s Jimmy Balito and Molly Hocking battling it out for victory.
Molly and Deana made the top two following the first round of live performances, which saw Jimmy and Bethzienna eliminated.
It was Molly who ultimately won The Voice UK and has now released her winner’s song on iTunes here.
The single is a cover of Lady GaGa’s I’ll Never Love Again from A Star Is Born.
In the final this weekend, the coaches took to the stage for duets with their four finalists.
The four finalists also performed a new solo song.
Two acts were then eliminated – Bethzienna Williams and Jimmy Balito – leaving the top two – Molly and Deana to sing again.
The final acts performed their favourite song of the series, which acted as their potential winner’s single.
Molly performed I’ll Never Love Again from A Star Is Born while Deana sang Autumn Leaves by Eva Cassidy.
Whoever won had their winner’s song released straight after the show as part of their prize of a life-changing record deal with Polydor.
Meanwhile, the live final also saw a mega group performance from the four coaches.
Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson and Olly Murs opened The Voice UK’s grand finale with a show-stopping performance of Gimme Some Lovin’ by The Spencer Davis Group.
Plus, there was a guest appearance from 2018 winner Ruti performing her new single ‘Racing Cars’.
The Voice 2019 aired its live final on April 6 from 8:40PM on ITV.
The show has already been confirmed to return for another series in 2020.
Before then, The Voice Kids will return for its brand new third season this summer.
