The Voice Kids 2019: Lil Shan Shan wows the coaches with amazing audition

Lil Shan Shan wowed The Voice Kids coaches tonight as she opened the latest round of blind auditions.

This year sees Jessie J join The Voice Kids for its third series.

She sits in the spinning chairs with Will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones and this weekend (Saturday, 15 June) saw blind auditions begin for the brand new season.

One of the acts impressing on Saturday was 10-year-old Lil Shan Shan who performed Supersonic by JJ Fad to open this week’s blind auditions.

Lil Shan Shan has been singing since the age of 5 and her vocals got Will.i.am to turn almost as soon as she started to perform.

Danny, Pixie and Jessie all quickly followed, leaving Lil Shan Shan with a full pick of the coaches to choose from.

Making her choice, Lil Shan Shan said: “I love all of you… but I’m going with Will!”

“She has so much confidence,” Pixie said after the audition.

“She’s way beyond her years,” agreed Danny.

Once more hosted by Emma Willis, The Voice Kids series 3 is open to talented young soloists between the ages of seven and 14.

Up for grabs for the winner is a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education plus a dream family holiday to Orlando.

The public will ultimately crown the winner of The Voice Kids in a live final later this year.

The Voice Kids’ blind auditions return next Saturday night on ITV.

You can watch full episodes online and via mobile with the ITV Hub Player and App.

Contestants that make it through the blind audition stages will go forward to compete in the battle rounds later in the series.
