The Apprentice 2019 results! Who left? Two candidates fired after music task

Who was fired from The Apprentice? Week 9 November 27

Lord Sugar got rid of TWO candidates in tonight’s The Apprentice 2019 results – who left this week?

This evening’s episode saw both Thomas Skinner and Marianne Rawlins fired from the BBC One business show.

Tonight (November 27) the candidates gathered at world-famous BBC Maida Vale studios in London. There Lord Sugar instructed the candidates to become music managers.

Each team had to audition unsigned artists, choose which one to represent and then head to a studio to create a new remix of one of their tracks.

The end goal was to secure licensing deals of the record at their own showcase events in a bid to end up top of the charts in the boardroom.

Lewis Ellis led Team Empower with Thomas Skinner, Marianne Rawlins and Pamela Laird.

Team Unison was led by Dean Ahmad with Lottie Lion, Scarlett Allen-Horton and Carina Lepore.

In the boardroom, Lord Sugar separated the chart toppers from the one-hit wonders.

Team Empower made profits of £10,001.25 from sales of £28,575 while Team Union made £15,045 from sales of £50,150.

For their treat, winning Team Unison got to enjoy a private performance from Bastille in Radio 1’s Live Lounge while losing Team Empower stayed to face Lord Sugar in the final boardroom.

Project manager Lewis together with Thomas, Pamela and Marianne all returned for the final showdown.

Delivering his verdict, Lord Sugar first said goodbye to Thomas after losing eight out of nine tasks: “I really wish you well but it is with regret, Thomas, you’re fired.”

But Lord Sugar wasn’t done there, continuing: “Marianne, I think it’s the end of the road as far as I’m concerned. I can’t see myself going into business with you so Marianne, you’re fired.”

Making her exit, Marianne said: “I’ve been out of my element more in this process than I ever have been in my life. I’ve learned a little about myself in some areas where I can improve.”

Thomas added: “I’m gutted I didn’t make the final but there’s some fantastic business people in this process and every person deserves to be there so good luck to them.”

The Apprentice 2019 continues next Wednesday night at 9PM on BBC One.

Next week, Lord Sugar asks the candidates to don their lab coats and goggles as he challenges them to create and sell their own perfume.
